| My driver lock worked fine before I started my latest project. I removed the actuator rods from the interior door skin, as I'm adding sound dampening. All power is disconnected from the car. When I connect the interior lock mechanism back up, the door will not lock. Even without the sound dampening (to make sure it's not jamming the lock), I can't get the lock working. From what I can see there is only one way to hook the mechanism back up, as the clips are in a set position. Is it possible something else within the door panel broke? Or is it because there is no power to the vehicle? I would think the lock should work manually from the inside, but maybe that's not true? Happy to provide pictures as needed.
